Following a comprehensive public tender process, the City of Salisbury (the city) has selected BlueFit as their preferred supplier for the management of the City’s indoor recreation centres from 1 July 2023 and the aquatic facility when this opens.
BlueFit is a national leisure management partner operating leisure and aquatic facilities in close collaboration with local governments. We currently operate approximately 40 facilities across Australia and pride ourselves on promoting a family culture within our facilities.
BlueFit and the City of Salisbury are committed to keeping all user groups, hirers and sporting teams informed during the transition process and providing you with relevant information to support the change management process. It remains very much a ‘business as usual’ approach during the transition process and leading up until the change in management.
It is important for you to know, there is nothing for you to do with this change in management. Simply continue to use the facility for your health, fitness and sporting needs. We will connect with team captains over the coming week to provide an update on the continued operation of the social sporting competitions.

BlueFit will commence the management and operation of the Salisbury Recreation Centres on 1 July 2023.
BlueFit will continue to operate the social sporting competitions for the remainder of the current season. Every effort will be made to contact team captains to confirm fixtures and game times once personal and team information has been released by the existing operator to BlueFit.
BlueFit has provided all existing staff and referees with the opportunity to continue their employment and referee services at the Centre, under the management of BlueFit, or at an alternative Belgravia Leisure facility, dependent on the preferences of the individual team member.
BlueFit will be contacting all hirers and user groups to confirm ongoing bookings from 1 July 2023 onwards. Over the coming weeks, hirers can expect contact from our local team to discuss court and room bookings, while confirming our contact information is correct for each hirer.
